Our history

The first documents that talk about our farm date back to 1330. Since 1668 our family has taken care of it, generation after generation.

In 1998 the grandparents Heinrich and Paula took an important step: they began to welcome guests, renting apartments in the new Kabishof house.

Today the farm is run by mother Ylenia, father Siegfriedand the twins Petra and Paul, who grow up surrounded by nature, animals and the authentic life of the farm. With passion and simplicity we continue the family tradition, offering sincere hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere to those who come to visit us.

Our present

The joy of doing what you love every day is the greatest gift you can pass on to your children: in this way even the most demanding work becomes lighter.

At the farm the day begins at dawn. The cows are waiting for Siegfried, who arrives whistling and returns with fresh milk still warm from the morning.
Ylenia prepares the yogurt and cheese for the guests' breakfast, while the children get ready for school.
But alongside the beauty of these daily gestures, there is also the tire of work in the fields and of agriculture, which remains the basis of our entire existence.
Managing the house, the animals, the farm and hospitality requires commitment, perseverance and dedication.

Yet, between nature, traditions and the strength of the family, every day work finds its meaning.
Thus, between sacrifice and passion, a new day on the farm comes to life.

Our future

The idea of wellness was born from our deep passion for nature.
Studies on nutrition, agriculture, beekeeping, phytotherapy, dairy art and bread-making, together with an interest in beauty, movement, energy and holism, have always guided our projects and our lifestyle.

Our dream is to integrate the farm with a true wellness area, combining our long experience of Ylenia in the holistic world with that of Siegfried in agriculture: two different but profoundly complementary paths, which find their natural meeting point in the farm.

Alongside the care of the land, Siegfried also cultivates a true art in construction: many parts of the structure, the new apartments and the future wellness area were built by him, recovering ancient materials, pieces of history of the farm and personal ideas that make each environment unique and authentic.
A manual skill that speaks of tradition, respect and creativity.

Our farm: nature, hands, time.

Here everything has a history that is rooted in the land and in artisanal knowledge.
We grow vegetables in our fields, we breed with respect, taking care of the woods and pastures. We pay attention to details with the patience of those who know the rhythm of the mountains.

From the scent of slowly smoked speck, to the flavor of freshly picked vegetables, jams, cheeses, infusions, meats and eggs, all of which can be purchased directly at the farm.

It's not just hospitality. It is a living place, which produces, welcomes, nourishes.

The products of the garden

Every day, the farm's vegetable garden gives us genuine flavours. Seasonal fruit and vegetables, aromatic herbs, edible flowers grown by hand, following the rhythms of nature and without forcing. Here there are no kilometers to travel, just a few steps from the field to the kitchen.

The meats of the farm

From our stables, a quality that can be seen.

We breed with respect, feed with care and transform following tradition.
From bacon to speck, each cured meat tells the scents of wood and time.
And with our pork, beef and veal we bring to the table only what we know well: authenticity, traceability and flavour.

Here, nothing comes from far away. Everything starts on the farm.
